Simple yet Elegant

Lavish dishes tend to lean towards being a bit more complex. This is definitely true, but I am here today to let you in on a little secret. Elegant food isn’t always that difficult to prepare, it can actually be quite simple.

It is all about the technique you use. Most of the time people don’t even know or realize that there are different ways of preparing something. It is not just boiling and grilling. There are so many ways of cooking out there. Basting, blanching, curing and frying, you can confit, flambé, roast and poach. Season it, sauté it, use a slow cooker or even a steamer, the possibilities are endless.

We decided to start off slow with something new. We wanted to do something different with our daily veggies, something that is a bit more effort, something a bit fancier.

We came to the conclusion for something simple yet exciting. Butter roast basting. So simple and so effective all at the same time. It is almost like magic, if you believe in that kind of thing.

So we came up with a beautiful winter meal. Perfectly cooked lamb chop next to butter roasted cauliflower and cherry tomatoes, all brought together with a hearty lamb pan sauce. We call it our Lamb in a Sunny Garden.

Try it with Triple T’s Lamb Chop and Butter Cauliflower

I gotta share a funny ha-ha moment with you, it should bring you a grin…When this post first came out the other day, I had quickly glanced the title and read: “Simply Eat Eggplant”. I was surprised, that did not sound like your ‘presentation’ style…. then I re-read the title and laughed 🙂

Haha it could actually be one of my post titles. Actually was planning on doing a post about ratatouille, which contains eggplant and is something I do love. Mmmmm. Maybe you’re psychic

No, not psychic, just synchronistic, it is how life really flows. Crazy, huh? 🙂

I acted on ‘my gut’ and shared my ‘ha-ha moment’ with you… wanted to do it when I first read it yesterday and hesitated.
Thank you for experiencing this with me. 🙂 🙂 🙂
I will watch for the ratatouille post.

Well I just learned something new today. Never really knew about sychronism. Thank you for enlightening me.
The ratatouille post might be a while away but it definitely is coming

Synchronicity is what we use to call, coincidences. I find that to be a simple definition. 🙂

I will still be here when the ratatouille is ready. thanx for the interaction…was fun. ren
