Perfection is quite Subjective

Perfection can mean so many different things to different people. Depending on what the subject is to who the person is, even to what time of day it is at the moment when something is being evaluated for perfection.

Lately, I have noticed that if something is perfect to me, it is usually something…

Simple. Which is where I differ from a lot of people.

To me, perfection can be as simple as a good cup of coffee at the right time with an appropriate setting. Imagine if you will, a cool autumn morning, you’re sitting at a quiet table overlooking a mountain range, a city skyline, people rushing to work, a boat on the lake, anything that provides you with some tranquility, and you are handed your favourite type of coffee to enjoy at your own pace, just giving you that moment of peace to start your day. That is what I call perfect.

What does perfection mean to you?

I completely agree with you, that feeling you get when you think about your life and there is absolutely nothing you would want to change

I believe that I am perfect and that you are perfect. I believe we all are as perfect as we can be in any given moment. 🙂

Agreed. Perfection can be as simple as a good cup of coffee.

Awesome post. For me perfection is bliss. Once in a while we have perfect moments, and I find that mine are when I can’t be any happier.

Your post reminds me so much of a book I read about 10 years ago, “The Search for Delicious.” Such a great book.

I understand. Perfection comes much easier to someone when they are happy. I feel they walk hand in hand. Sounds like my type of book. I will see if I can find it.
